Queensland HITH Seminar 2011

Earlier this year we hosted a HITH seminar and workshop in Brisbane focusing on issues in Queensland.

Attended by over 50 delegates from established and emerging HITH services in both the private and public settings, the dynamic program was chaired by Prof. Gideon Caplan, and included insights from the HITH Society Australasia, Queensland Health and established Queensland HITH services. Darren Hitchen, a former Hospital in the Home patient, also attended the meeting to share his story with delegates and develop a greater understanding of the patient experience. The seminar provided a forum for HITH workers to connect and discuss relevant issues and solutions to move HITH forward in Queensland.
